Cats & kittens, you may have noticed it’s October already, which means the season is kicking into high gear for most popular sports and football video-games will be taking center stage. But that’s not all October has in store for us, let’s have a look after the break!
The summer draught is officially over and we finally have a good selection of games to look forward to! These past months sure went by fast, as if someone kept clicking the days away, thinking…
It’s been a long time coming, but the video version is finally up: Join the JRT Show as I critique one of the holiday season’s heaviest hitters, Nintendo‘s return to its oldest franchise, New Super Mario Bros. Wii for the Nintendo Wii! Featuring dragons, mushrooms and pillow-fights.
One of the hottest titles this holiday season and the biggest Shigeru Miyamoto release in a long while, I take a look at Nintendo‘s New Super Mario Bros. Wii for the Nintendo Wii.
The Assassin’s Creed II video is being encoded, for about the billionth time, as we speak, while all of us here at JRT are already hard at work for the next instalment. Things will hopefully go to plan for once, now that advertising is kicking in and the site actually gets traffic.
Speaking of which, if you are a new visitor, you might want to first check the lighter, more “newcomer-friendly” JRT episodes, Punch-Out!! & Monkey Island SE. Of course, we also have the epic, 5-part, Metal Gear Solid 4 review/playthrough, but its terrifying length & troubling sound means it’s probably best left for last.
Also, under the break follows a list of new releases most likely to help us have a fantastic December!
While it may seem like I’m dropping the ball, I assure you we are tirelessly working behind the scenes to get the site up to speed and to make sure there is a steady flow of content for you to enjoy when the first ever official season of JRT starts, late November.
I feel it’s wiser to build up a buffer for a while and then release new reviews every couple of weeks at worst, rather than keeping up the current rate of one video per month, at best.
Meanwhile, feel free to be distracted by my list of promising games coming out this month!
