Nintendo redistributes the keys to the Metroid universe once again and gives them to Team Ninja of Ninja Gaiden fame. Do they prove worthy replacements for Retro Studios that are leaving behind a memorable Prime Trilogy?

Break-time is over and we enthusiastically return to reviews of considerable proportions, only fit for Ciao!, with my take on Assassin’s Creed II.

Little Mac’s polygonal update with the Punch-Out!! remake coincides with a fresh approach to my reviews; this is the first one written in conjunction with the storyboard for the video review.

One more piece that really had me appreciating the qualities of the video format, I tackle the poster child for PC gaming: Empire: Total War.

Starting off the year with a game that kept a low profile at the time but went on to start a blockbuster series: Assassin’s Creed for the X360, PS3 and, later, the PC.

Between celebrating Christmas and getting my alchohol tolerance up for New Year’s, I review the first PS3 exclusive that isn’t best used as a coaster, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

Another blockbuster review I could only do at Ciao! and I add further fuel to the “Nintendo Fanboy” fire, by reviewing, and loving, Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii.
